Kathmandu: Shiva Shree Hydropower is at a loss of Rs 289 million as of the third quarter of the current fiscal year. The company had a loss of Rs 180 million till mid-December. By mid-April, the company has earned Rs 179.2 million from electricity sales.
Meanwhile, the company has stated that it has succeeded in working as per the plan by the end of the third quarter. It has earned an operating profit of Rs. 121.8 million during the period.
The Upper Chaku A Hydropower Project (22.2 MW) constructed by Shiva Shree Hydropower in Bhotekoshi village municipality of Sindhupalchowk district has started generating electricity from May 20.
At present, the company’s paid-up capital is Rs 1.47 billion and reserve fund is negative at Rs 270 million. Earnings per share is negative at Rs 26.10 per annum with a net worth of Rs 81.67 per share.
